the national recording scheme

If you have records of sawflies please share these to the national recording scheme database. Records from personal recording, unpublished site lists, research projects, museums, personal collections and other databases are really valuable and will make a big difference. Records can be in any format but should each contain at least a date, locality and observer. They can be sent as an email attachment or by post - use the contact page.

The database is being developed with the Biological Records Centre for mapping of validated data on the National Biodiversity Network Gateway and is used to inform national conservation assessments, british sawflies web content and other research.
